As I read about the state of our modern food supply, I am convinced that everyone needs at least a daily multi-vitamin supplement. Our foods simply do not contain all the vitamins that we require. Most foods are picked before they are ripe and are rushed to market before they have time to store the vitamins and minerals that are essential for the growth and maintenance of our bodies. Consider for example the difference in taste between vegetables purchased in most supermarkets and those grown at home. I think there is a direct connection between the amount of flavor that we experience and the vitamin and mineral content of our foods.

I also feel that some of us need additional vitamin supplements, depending on our individual situation. I know that for me particularly, anti-oxidant supplements are a necessity. I feel that there are a number of good sources for these nutritional supplements, but here are some that I have used, that I feel are good sources of quality products.
