George was born 19 AUG 1770 at Bunbury, Cheshire, England; son of Craven SQUIRE, (Lord VERNON) [F260] and Nancy or Kitty or Mary or Alice [F261]. Married Rebecca GOLBOURN [F261]. He died in 1822.
WIFE:
[F131]. Rebecca GOLBOURNE.
Born daughter of Job GOLBOURNE [F262] and Mary PERRY [F263]. She died in 1820.
CHILDREN of George VERNON [F130] and Rebecca GOLBOURN [F131]:
- [F65]. Elizabeth VERNON. Elizabeth was born 21 FEB 1791 at Burwardsley, Cheshire, England. She married (1) John SILVERTHORN. They had a son, James. Her husband soon deserted her. She married (2) Joseph MORRIS [F64] on 24 JUL 1815 at Cheshire, Cheshire, England. Joseph adopted her son James from her first marriage. Joseph was often gone so she moved to Duckinfield to be with her son George. She suddenly became ill in OCT 1838 and died within two weeks, on 2 NOV 1838 at Dukinfield, Cheshire, England. She was buried at St. Johns Church (Providence Chapel) in Duchenfield, Cheshire, England.
- John VERNON. Born possibly 1795. He married possibly Elizabeth. He had a "considerable" family. They lived in Maccelsfield, Cheshire, England.
- Mary VERNON. She married Robert WILD. They lived at Dukenfield.
