TROS, King of Dardania
HUSBAND:
TROS. King of Dardania. [CHART A1].
Born about (1314 B.C.-S?)(1281BC-S8); son of ERICHTHONIUS and ASTYOCHE ILIUM. He married CALLIRHOE ILIUM.
Often said to be King of Troy, but the city state of Ilium, which became Troy, was founded by his son ILUS.
He ruled from 1366-1326. (S7). He died about 1281 B.C. (S?)
WIFE:
CALLIRHOE ILIUM.
Said to be the river nymph of Greek mythology.
CHILDREN of TROS
- ILUS, King of TroyILUS, King of Troy. Born in 1251BC. He married Eurydice. He moved south to the area of Troy and founded the city and state of Ilium, which became Troy.
- ASSARACUS, King of Dardania. King of Dardania. Ally of the Hittites at the Battle of Kadish in 1285 BC, according to an Egyptian text (which?). He stayed in Dardania and inherited the kingdom from his father.
