TERAH

HUSBAND:
TERAH. (Terah-S1,S3,S4,S5)(Thara-S2)(Terih-S5). King of Agade. (S2,S5). [CHART A1].

Born (in 2152 B.C.-S2) (in 2122 B.C.-S1)(in 2052 B.C.-S5) in Ur, Chaldea. (S2,S5); son of NAHOR.

And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah: And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters. Genesis 11:24-25

Following the chronology in Genesis, Terah was born in Anno Mundi 1879. That is, 1879 years after Adam began reckoning time.

He married Maria. (S2,S5).

Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; Genesis 11:27

And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran. Genesis 11:26

Son Haran born. (S5).

And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees. Genesis 11:28

Son Nahor born. (S5).

He was 100 years old (S2) when his son Abram was born, in 2046 B.C.(S?).

Daughter Sarai born. (S5). Said to be of a different wife than Abram.

And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods. Joshua 24:2

For some unknown reason emigrated with his family from his native mountains in the north to the plains of Mesopotamia. (S5).

The Perl of Great Price answers the question of that unknown reason:

Now the Lord God caused the famine to wax sore in the land of Ur, insomuch that Haran, my brother, died; but Terah, my father, yet lived in the land of Ur, of the Chaldees. Abraham 2:1

Scientists have determined, based on ice core samplings in Greenland, dendritic tree ring studies, and evidences of abandoned villages in the middle east, that there was a serious drought, according to their calculations, about 1800 BC.

And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there. Genesis 11:31

He lived 205 years. (S2).

And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran. Genesis 11:32

Died (in 1907 B.C.-S1)(in 1917 B.C.-S2)(in 2003 B.C.-S2,S5) in Haran (S3) (Charran), Padan-aram. (S2).

Following the chronology in Genesis, Terah died in Anno Mundi 2084. That is, 2084 years after Adam began reckoning time.
