Born 23 OCT 1698 at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts; son of Daniel TENNEY [F3584] and Mary HARDY [F3585].

His marriage to Mehitable PEARSON [F1793] was published on 3 SEP 1720.

His will was proved in 1782 at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts; but he is also said to have died 25 SEP 1784 at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts. This needs to be clarified. Could it be that 1782 was the year that his will was written, instead of the year that it was proved?

WIFE:
[F1793]. Mehitable PEARSON.
Born 18 MAY 1695; daughter of Benjamin PEARSON [F3586] and Hannah THURSTON [F3587]. She was of Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.

Her marriage was published on 3 SEP 1720 to William TENNEY [F1792].

She died on 1 March 1749 (1774).

CHILDREN of William TENNEY [F1792] and Mehitable PEARSON [F1793]:
  1. [F896]. William TENNEY. Born 19 JUL 1723, probably in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts. He married Ann JEWETT [F897] on 17 NOV 1745. He died 22 MAR 1783, probably at Hollis, New Hampshire.
  2. [F899]. Ruth TENNEY. Born 28 JUL 1728 at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts. She married Samuel BLANCHARD [F898] on 25 MAY 1748.
