Peter SWOVELIN

1. Peter Swovelin. Born about 1748 in Wurtemburg, Germany. He and his brothers Ludwig and Christian arrived in America on 15 August 1774 on the ship Snow Sally, Captain Stephen Jones)(on 30 September 1774 on the ship Union, Captain Andrew Bryson, at the port of Philadelphia. Settled in Bedford Township, Bedford County, Pennyslvania.
2. Ludwig Swovelin. Born about 1750 in Germany. He married Hannah MUMMERT, daughter of William MUMMERT. He settled in Pennsylvania.
3. Christian Swovelin. Born about 1756 in Germany. He married (1) Anna Elizabetha FUCHS (Fox). He married (2) Peggy MUMMERT, daughter of William MUMMERT.
4. [F485]. Catherine SWOVELIN. Born in 1758 in Germany. She married George BURKETT, Sr. [F484]. She and her husband emigrated to America on 30 September 1774, during the Revolutionary War, and settled in Pennsylvania. She died before 1840 in Pennsylvania.
