SETH

HUSBAND:
(SETH-S9). (Sed-S7)(Sheth-S9). [CHART A1].
Born (in 130 A.A.-S1)(in 3871 B.C.-S?)(in 3870 B.C.-S4)(in 3874 B.C.-S9) in Olaha, Shinehah (S9); son of ADAM and EVE.

His mother gave him this name, "for God," said she, "hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew."(S1).

This order [The Priesthood] was instituted in the days of Adam, and came down by lineage in the following manner: From Adam to Seth, who was ordained by Adam at the age of sixty-nine years, and was blessed by him three years previous to his (Adam's) death, and received the promise of God by his father, that his posterity should be the chosen of the Lord, and that they should be preserved unto the end of the earth; Because he (Seth) was a perfect man, and his likeness was the express likeness of his father, insomuch that he seemed to be like unto his father in all things, and could be distinguished from him only by his age. (S3).

...Seth...was ordained by Adam at the age of sixty-nine years.... (S3) This was in 199 AM (anno mundi) or 3802 B.C.

Seth married Azura (His Sister). (S?).

Seth married Akilia (Aklia), his sister (S9) (about 3766 B.C.-S9) in Adam-Ondi-Ahman. (S9).

Seth was 105 and begat Enos. (S1).

Enos was born in 3765 B.C.-S4).

Lamech was thirty-two years old when he was ordained under the hand of Seth. (S3) This was in 906 AM (anno mundi) or 3095 B.C.

Three years previous to the death of Adam, he called Seth, Enos, Cainan, Mahalaleel, Jared, Enoch, and Methuselah, who were all high priests, with the residue of his posterity who were righteous, into the valley of Adam-ondi-Ahman, and there bestowed upon them his last blessing. And the Lord appeared unto them, and they rose up and blessed Adam, and called him Michael, the prince, the archangel. And the Lord administered comfort unto Adam, and said unto him: I have set thee to be at the head; a multitude of nations shall come of thee, and thou art a prince over them forever. And Adam stood up in the midst of the congregation; and, notwithstanding he was bowed down with age, being full of the Holy Ghost, predicted whatsoever should befall his posterity unto the latest generation. (S3) This was in 927 AM or 3074 B.C.

He lived 912 years.

He died (in 1042 A.M.-S1)(in 2959 B.C.-S?)(in 2978 B.C.-S4)(in 2962 B.C.-S9) in Cainan, East of Eden. (S9).

  1. ENOS. (Enosh). Born (in3765 B.C.-S?)(in 3769 B.C.-S9) in Shulon, East of Eden. He married Naom, his sister and daughter of Seth and Akilia (before 3669 B.C.-S9)(in Adam-Ondi-Ahman-S9). He died (in 2860 B.C.-S?)(in 2864 B.C.-S9) in Cainan, East of Eden. Edna.
  2. Noam. Daughter of Seth and Akilia.(S9). Born (in 3874 B.C.-S9) in Olaha, Shinehah.(S9). She married her brother Enos (before 3669 B.C.-S9). At Adam-Ondi-Ahman.(S9).
