SALAH. (S3,S5). (Shelah-S?). King of Babylon. (S5). [CHART A1].
Born in 2307 B.C. (S1, S2,S5), in Salem (Jerusalem) (S2,S5), son of ARPHAXAD. (S1,S3)
In the book of Genesis in the KJV Bible he is said to be the son of Arphaxad, but in Luke 3:35 and in the Septuagint bible he is said to be the son of Caanan (Cainan). I believe the Septuagint bible to be in error, and that Luke based his information on the Septuagint bible. The King James Version of the bible appears to me to be correct. This is supported by the Book of Jasher, which does not include Cainan in the genealogy of the patriarchs.
He married Mauk (S2,S5) in Salem (Jerusalem), Caanan. (S5).
He was 30 years old when his son Eber was born in 2277 B.C.
He lived 433 years.
He died in 1874 B.C. (S2,S5) or 1974 B.C. (S1) in Jerusalem, Caanan. (S5).
