Born (about 1571)(about 1583)(between 1571 and 1582-S3), of Birdham, Sussex, England; son of William PENN [F15348]. He married Elizabeth [F7675] (about 1587)(on 29 July 1581-S3) in Sussex, England.

He died (4 NOV 1632-S2, S3)(1635), probably in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.

He was buried on 5 Jan 1632 in Mintye, Bristol, Gloucester, England. This date is most likely wrong but listed here as a reference. {S3}.

[NOTE: It appears to me that two different George Penn’s are being mixed together. One born said to be born about 1571, but probably earlier, and one said to be born about 1583].

  1. [F3837]. Christian (Christina?) PENN. Born about 1607 or 1608 in England. She arrived in Plymouth in the ship Ann in 1623. She was married (1), as his third wife, Francis EATON, who came in the Mayflower with his second wife and son. They had 3 children. Francis died in NOV 1633. She married (2) Francis BILLINGTON [F3836] on 16 JUL 1634 at Plymouth, Massachusetts. She died in JUL 1684 at Middleboro, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.
  2. Eleanor Penn was born about 1603 in England.
  3. Elizabeth Penn was born about 1605 in England.
  4. William Penn was born in 1609 in Plymouth, Plymouth, Massachusetts. He died in 1669 in Westmoreland County, Viginia.
  5. Eleanor Penn was born about 1611 in Plymouth, Plymouth, Massachusetts. (158) She was christened on 21 Oct 1611 in Plymouth, Plymouth, Massachusetts.She died after 1669.
  6. John Penn was born about 1611 in England. He died in 1667.
  7. Elizabeth Penn was born about 1613 in Plymouth, Plymouth, Massachusetts.
