Lourens (Lawrence) KNICKERBOCKER

HUSBAND:
[F1998]. Lourens (Lawrence) KNICKERBOCKER.
Born 3 MAY 1681 at Fort Orange (Albany), Albany County, New York; son of Harman Jansz KNICKERBOCKER [F3996] and Lysbeth (Elizabeth) Janse Van De BOGERT (BOGART) [F3997].

He married Marijke DYCKMAN [F1999] in 1707 at Albany, Albany County, New York. They moved to Red Hook Landing (now Tivoli), New York in 1750 or 1751, which lies on the east side of the Hudson River.

He was also one of the founders and builders of the Old Dutch Reformed Red Church at Tivoli, which was built in 1751. He and his wife were taken into the church by certificate on 5 OCT 1766 by Reverend Casper Fryenmost. [How could that be when he died 3 years earlier?].

Lourens was a member of the military company organized and under review at Oak Hill, Clavereck, New York. He died 20 DEC 1763 at Red Hook (Tivoli), Dutchess County, New York, age 82 years, and was buried there.

Born 1688 in Dutchess County, New York; daughter of Johannes DYCKMAN, Jr. [F3998] and Jannetje VIELE [F3999].

She married in 1707 at Albany, Albany County, New York Lourens KNICKERBOCKER [F1998].

She died 20 SEP 1766 at Red Hook (now Tivoli), Dutchess County, New York and was buried there.
