He married Eglin HATHERLY [F16069] on 31 MAR 1611 at Fremington, Devonshire, England. They embarked on 10 APR 1635 on the ship Planter, Mr. Trarice, Master; bound for New England with daughters Margaret, age 16, and Elizabeth, age 14.

Born about 15891 (about 1592); daughter of Mr. HATHERLY [F32138] and Elliner TANNER [32139].
She married (1) Mr. DOWNE. He died. She married (2) Jeffry HANFORD [F16068] on 31 MAR 1611 at Fremington, Devonshire, England. They embarked on 10 APR 1635 on the ship "Planter", Mr. Trarice, Master; bound for New England with daughters Margaret, age 16, and Elizabeth, age 141. On 30 AUG 1637 the will of her mother was proved at Barnstable, Devonshire, England; from which she received a bequest. She also received a deed from her brother, Timothy, for "50 acres of land in Scituate on the North side of Stony Brook, the 3 lot from the Brook, bounded on the East with the common path which leads from the Brook to the harbor mouth, on the South by land of Richard Sillis, West with common drift path, North by land of Gavin White."
On 15 DEC 1637 she married (2nd) Deacon Richard Sealis of Scituate.

- Margaret HANFORD. Born about 1619 in England. She married Isaac ROBINSON, son of Rev. John ROBINSON.
- Elizabeth (Lettice) HANFORD. Born about 1621 in England. She married Edward FOSTER. Edward Foster's will was written in 1643.
- [F8034]. Thomas HANFORD. He married (1) Hannah NEWBERRY. He married (2) Mary MILES 22 OCT 1661.
