John HAMBLIN

Born 26 JUN 1644 at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts; son of James HAMBLIN, Sr. F[(3712)] and Anne [F(3713)].
He was christened 30 JUN 1644 in Barnstable, Massachusetts.
He married Sarah BEARSE [F1859] in AUG of 1667.
He resided at Hamblin’s Plain in West Barnstable, Massachusetts. He was a farmer. Though his wife was an early member of the church, he did not join until late in life.
He died in 1718.

Born 28 MAR 1646 at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts; daughter of Augustine (Austin) BEARSE [F3718] and Mary HYANO [F3719]. She was baptized 29 MAR 1646. She married John HAMBLEN [F1858] in AUG 1667. She died before 1718.

- Melatiah HAMBLEN. (HAMBLIN-S7). Born 1 JUL 1668 at Barnstable, Massachusetts. She married Ichabod Higgins. She died 28 MAR 1744.
- Priscilla HAMBLEN. (HAMBLIN-S7). Born 30 APR 1670 at Barnstable, Massachusetts. She married John ROGERS on 23 APR 1696 in Eastham, Massachusetts. She died in 1734.
- Sarah HAMBLEN. (HAMBLIN-S7). Born 1 JUL 1671 at Barnstable, Massachusetts. She married (1) Richard HIGGINS. She married (2) John COLE. She died after 1734.
- Martha HAMBLEN. (HAMBLIN-S7). Born 16 FEB 1672-1673 at Barnstable, Massachusetts. She married Samuel DOANE of Eastham, Massachusetts on 30 DEC 1694-1696 at Barnstable, Massachusetts. She died after 1734. Samuel died in Eastham, Massachusetts; so presumably that is where they lived.
- Experience HAMBLEN. (HAMBLIN-S7). Born 16 APR 1674 at Barnstable, Massachusetts. She married Jabez LEWES on 20 FEB 1695 in Barnstable, Massachusetts. She died 26 JUL 1766.
- Hannah HAMBLEN. (HAMBLIN-S7). Born 16 FEB 1675-1676 at Barnstable, Massachusetts. She married John KING on 9 SEP 1714 in Barnstable, Massachusetts. She died before 6 JUL 1737.
- Esther HAMBLEN. (HAMBLIN-S7). Born 17 MAR 1676-1677. She married Jonathan HAMLEN (HAMLIN-S7) of Barnstable, Massachusetts. She died 1 SEP 1746.
- Thankful HAMBLEN. (HAMBLIN-S7). Born 16 OCT 1679 at Barnstable, Massachusetts. She died in OCT 1683 in Barnstable, Massachusetts.
- John HAMBLEN. (HAMBLIN-S7). Born 10 MAR 1680-1681 at Barnstable, Massachusetts. He died in 1734. (after 10 MAR 1734-S7).
- Ebenezer HAMBLEN. (HAMBLIN-S7). Born 12 MAY 1683 at Barnstable, Massachusetts. He married Thankful HAMBLEN (HAMBLIN-S7). She was the daughter of Israel HAMBLIN and Abigail LUMBARD. He died in 1736.
- [F929]. Abigail HAMBLIN. (HAMBLIN-S7). Born 24 (25-S7) APR 1685 at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. She was married to Elkenah (Elkanah-S7) HAMBLIN [F928] on 13 APR 1711 by Justice Gorham. She died 29 MAY 1733 at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.
- Benjamin HAMBLEN. (HAMBLIN-S7). Born 11 FEB 1685-1686 at Barnstable, Massachusetts. He married Hope HUEKINS (HUCKINS-S7) on 29 MAY 1709 in Barnstable, Massachusetts. He died in 1718.
