Born about 1470, of Highhurst, Lancashire, England; son of Adam GREGORY [F136320] and Ada ORMESTON [F136321]. He married Dorothy PARRE [F68161] (about 1489-S11)(about 1495-S6)(about 1499) in West Derby, County Lancaster, England.{S11}.
He resided at Highhurst, Tyldesley with Shakerly, and Leigh Lancashire, England. {S12}.

Born about 1478; of Kempenhough (Kempnall), Lancashire, England; daughter of Richard PARRE [F136322].
S8, S9, S10, and S14 say Dorothy is the daughter of Hugh Parr and Constance Tildesley (De Tyldesley-S11); and that Hugh Parr is the son of Richard Parr and Elizabeth Travers Who resided at Kempnall & Cleworth, LAN, ENG.
S12 says she is the daughter of Hugh Parre, b. abt 1452; res Kempnall & Cleworth LAN ENG; but that he married twice: (1) Constance Tildesley; ma(2) Isabel Dychefield; and is not sure which one is mother of Dorothy.
Kempnall Hall is in the township of WORSLEY, in the parish of Eccles, hundred of Salford, S. division of Lancashire, 7 miles (W. by N.) from Manchester, on the road to Leigh and Wigan. {S13}.
She married William GREGORY [F68161] (about 1489-S11)(about 1495-S6)(about 1499) in West Derby, County Lancaster, England.{S11}.
