Will dated 1st October, 1718.
I, Samuel Gibbs, Sen., of windsor, do make this my last will and testament: I give to my eldest son Samuel my gun, one-half my wearing apparell, besides what I have given him already by deed of gift. And as to the woodlott lying near Two-Mile Tree by Thomas Thrall, which was my father Dibble's, my son Benjamin hath it by deed, having paid Samuel for 1-2 of it. I give to my son Benjamin, besides what I have already given him, my cutless. I give to my son Benjamin all my lands which I have not already disposed of, viz., 4 acres in Hoit's Meadow, 3 acres in the Great Meadow, and 4 1-2 acres by Benjamin's home lott, provided he pay the full value of the sd. 3 pieces of land to my daughters hereafter named, viz., to the heirs of my deceased daughter Hepsibah Dickinson, to Patience Denslow, to Elizabeth Hayden, to Joannah Loomis, to Experience Huxley, and to Miriam Bissell, to all in equall proportions. Item. I give to my daughter Patience my great wainscot chest. Item. To my daughter Elizabeth, my great Bible. Item. To my daughter Joannah, a young mare. Item. I give to my daughter Experience a young mare and colt. Item. To my daughter Miriam, my featherbed and bedding belonging to it, with the bedstead; also, my bell-metal skillett. I hereby constitute my sons, Benjamin Gibbs, Josiah Bissell and Moses Loomis, to be executors. I also desire my trusty friends, Mr. John Eliot, Dr. Samuel Mather and Mr. Ebenezer Fitch, to be overseers.

I, Alexander Allin of Windsor, do make this my last will and testament:
I give to my beloved wife Hannah Allin my dwelling house, barn and shop, with ye homestead and ye upland I bought, which was Mr. Samuel Gibb's, about an acre adjoining my homelott, and also 4 acres of land in the meadow against my pasture or homelott, with the third part of my moveable estate, to be to her and to her use and dispose forever. I give unto my son Alexander Allin the house and homestead which I bought of Lt. Jonathan Elsworth, formerly Mr. James MackJerrew's, with all the rest of my outside lands in Windsor or elsewhere, already laid out or which shall or may be laid out. My will is that if my son Alexander shall have a mind to dispose of sd. house and homestead which I bought of Lt. Jonathan Elsworth, yt he first give his mother the offer or refusal thereof. I give unto my two daughters, Mary Allin and Hannah Allin, to each of them the sum of œ80 out of my moveable estate; and also I give unto my three daughters, Abigail Elsworth, Mary Allin and Hannah Allin, all the remainder of my moveable estate, if any there be, to be equally divided amongst them; also I give unto my three daughters aforesd. the land which I bought of Jacob Gibbs in the Great Meadow, 4 acres more or less. My will is that my wife Hannah Allin be sole executrix.

Born on 15 FEB 1644/1645 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. She died in1699/1745 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. [If she lived so late, that makes the second marriage impossible. It is most likely that he did not have a wife Miriam.].

Born (before 25 DEC 1642-S2)(on 25 DEC 1642-S3,S4,S7) at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut; daughter of Thomas DIBBLE [F2270] and Miriam Frances GRANT [F2271]. She married Samuel GIBBS [F1134] 15 APR 1664 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. She died (8-S7)(22) FEB (1697-1698)(1718-1719-S7) at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.

- Patience GIBBS. Born on 2 DEC 1666 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. Married Samuel DENSLOW on 2 DEC 1686 Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. She was of Pine Meadow, Litchfield, Connecticut. She died 1 OCT 1736 Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.
Experience GIBBS. Born in 1666 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She died in 1666 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.
- Elizabeth GIBBS. Born 30 JAN 1667-1668 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. She married Daniel HAYDEN (about 1690-S6)(about 1700) at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. She died on 15 OCT 1740 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.
- Joannah (Joanna) GIBBS. Born 26 MAR 1671 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. She married Moses LOOMIS on 27 APR 1694 at East Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. She died 26 JAN 1741-1742 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.
- Experience GIBBS. Born on 4 APR 1673 (1675-S?) at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. She married (1) A. HUXLEY. She married (2) John HUXLEY on (6-S6)(8) NOV (1706)(1708-S6) at Suffield, Connecticut. She died on 28 APR 1740 at Suffield, Connecticut.
- Catherine GIBBS. Born 29 APR 1675 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. She died 29 JUN 1676 Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.
- Benjamin GIBBS. Born 29 APR 1675 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. He married Abigail MARSHALL on 16 SEP 1708 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. He died 10 MAY 1767-1768 at Litchfield, Litchfield County, Connecticut. [But in the father’s will, Samuel is named as the eldest son].
- Samuel GIBBS. Born 16 APR 1677 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. He married MARY WINCHELL on 4 March 1701/02 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. He died (8 FEB 1719-1720-S6)(before 5 SEP 1757) at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.
- Jonathon GIBBS. Born on 16 FEB 1679-1680 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. He died probably at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.
- Mindwell GIBBS. Born on 16 February 1679/80, Windsor, Hartford Co., CT; d. Bef. 1681.
- Miriam GIBBS. Born 2 DEC 1680-1681 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. She married (1) William BISSELL on 21 JAN 1702-1703. She married (2) Josiah BISSEL on 10 DEC 1713. She died 8 JUL 1747 at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.
