Posted by: cindy bray (ID *****5622) Date: December 21, 2004 at 20:50:02 of 858 I recently was given old photo albums belonging to my gr grandfather William Henry Tiday. Unfortunately there are no names with the photos. His third marraige was to my gr grandmother Sadie Handy b. Iowa who was previously married to a Charles Craig. Parents were Harvey P. and Mary Handy who lived near Crawford Oklahoma. I believe some of these photos are of the Handy family. Any help would be appreciated. Posted by: Troy Bramlett (ID *****6703) Date: December 09, 2004 at 09:19:00 of 858 Looking for the parents of Mary Handy, born abt. 1790 in TN. She was the wife of David Bush who was listed on the 1830 census of Morgan County, Alabama. David Bush was born abt. 1779 in VA. Mary may have been a daughter of James Handy and Hannah Renfro. I need to know if anyone knows the children of James Handy and Hannah Renfro who married Febuary 11, 1786 in Virginia. A neighbor of David Bush and Mary Handy Bush was John Handy. He was close in age to Mary and could possibly be her brother. On the 1850 census of Morgan County, Alabama there was also a William Handy born abt. 1803 in TN who could possibly be Mary's younger brother. This William Handy had a son named James Handy born abt. 1837 in Alabama. Most of this is primary research--UNVERIFIED. Robert A. HANDY's line is very well documented. Clairborne D. HANDY's line is fairly well documented, several descendents of which I know personally. Caleb Washington HANDY's line is fairly well documented (my line) and getting there. To say the least, the HANDYs are prolific. The descendents from Jesse and Elizabeth must number between 2000 and 3000, perhaps more. There are at least 5 intermarriages with the HALL family, 3 with the HOUK family, as well as SCOTT, GOFF, FORBIS, MYERS, FAULKNER, and LILE. Please contact me if you are researching one of these lines. I. Jesse HANDY (b.12Mar1770,Virginia; d.
