Born on 10 April 1707 at Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut; son of William BUTLER [F1992] and Hannah HILLS [F1993]. He was christened on 13 April 1707 in Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut. He married Sarah FOSTER [F997] on 3 December 1728 at Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut. He died about February 1748 at Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut. A Mr. John Butler is listed in the Indian Hill Cemetery records in Middletown, but with no death or burial date given. On 1 March 1748 the estate of John Butler of Middletown was being settled. (Court Record, Page 61). {S3}.

Born on 1 October 1710 in Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut; daughter of Edward FOSTER [F1994] and Sarah HUBBARD [F1995]. She married John BUTLER [F996] on 3 December 1728 at Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut.

- Hannah BUTLER. Born 20 December 1729.
- William, BUTLER. Born 29 September 1731.
- Ruth BUTLER. Born in (1732-S5)(1738). [I found a old Family Bible that states Ruth (Butler) Cook was born 1732 not 1738 like everyone has-S5]. She married Charles COOK (1733-1805) on 25 August 1757 in Connecticut. They had five children. She died in 1819.

- Peter BUTLER. Born 10 August 1733. On 1 MAR 1748 Peter BUTLER, age 15 years, son of John BUTLER, late of Middletown decd., chose his grandfather Edward FOSTER of Middletown to be his guardian.
- Sarah BUTLER. Born 20 June 1736.
- John BUTLER. Born 16 January 1741.
- Comfort BUTLER. (son). Born 16 November 1743.
- [F498]. Thomas BUTLER. [PC W3]. Born about 1747 at Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut. He married Jane WHITE [F499] on 1 JUN 1769 at Salisbury, Litchfield County, County, Connecticut. He died on 19 FEB 1806 at Hinesburg (Heinsburgh), Chittenden County, Vermont.
