HUSBAND:
(Sir) John de BERKELEY.
Born (about 1505)(in 1506-S6)(about 1510-S5) at Stoke Gifford, Gloucestershire, England; son of Richard BERKELEY and Elizabeth CONNINGSBY.

He married Isabella DENNYS [F231661] (about 1525-S6)(before 1532).

He sold his manors of Brightmarstone and Middlestone,in Wiltshire, about 1543, to Richard Buckland Marchant. 1st s. Of Stoke Gifford. Kt: c. 1544. Sherriff of Worcester. (S6).

John died 28 Jun 1545 (1546-S1), in the 37th year of King Henry VIII, on a ship at Portsmouth.

[F231661]. Isabella DENNYS.
Born about 1509, of Durham, England; daughter of William DENNYS and Anne BERKELEY She married John BERKELEY [F231660] (about 1525-S6)(before 1532).

CHILDREN of John BERKELEY [F231660] and Isabella DENNYS [F231661]:
  1. Richard BERKELEY. Born in 1532. He married (1) Elizabeth Ann READE. He married (2) Elizabeth JERMY. He died on 26 APR 1603.
  2. Mary BERKELEY. She married (1) Nicholas WALSH of Sodbury. She married (2) (Sir) William Herbert, of Swansey.
  3. Elizabeth Dennis BERKELEY. Henry (LISON-S1)(LYGON), son of Richard Lygon and Margaret Greville (Grevell). Henry Lygon was born in 1524 in St. Leonard Upton, co. Gloucester, England. Henry died on July 31, 1577.
