Born 12 JAN 1654 at Salisbury (possibly in the new town section, which became Amesbury), Essex County, Massachusetts; son of Thomas BARNARD [F7828] and Eleanor or Helen [F7829] .
He married Frances HOYT [F3915] on 27 DEC 1675.
He was a Captain.
He died 15 July 1718 at Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.

She married (1) John COLBY, son of Anthony COLBY [F15676] on 14 JAN 1655-6 at Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts.
She married (2) John BARNARD [F3914] on 27 DEC 1676 at Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.
She died 2 JAN 1720-1 at Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, age about 85 years.

6. Susannah COLBY. Born (a twin) 10 MAY 1665 at Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. She was not in the will of 1674, so she probably died before that date.
7. Thomas COLBY. (Deacon). Born about 1667.
8. Mary COLBY. She married CHALLIS.
9. Hannah COLBY. Born abour 1674. She married OSGOOD.
The only child of John BARNARD [F3914] and Frances HOYT [F3915]:
- [F1957]. Dorothy BARNARD. Born about 1676. She married Richard CURRIER [F1956] on 29 AUG 1695. She died 2 MAR 1765 at Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.
