John AULT

HUSBAND:

Born 1601 in England (S3); son of John AULT [F15204].
John, was sent to Pascataqua, by Capt. Mason, on or before 1631. (S3).

He was an inhabitant of OysterRiver, and was living in 1679. (S3).

John married Rebecca Tibbetts on 1640 in Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire.

John married (2?) Remembrance.(S3).

His wife was Remembrance, who in 1645 recovered of Capt. Wiggans wages for services commencing before coming to this country; the time being from March, 1638, to 14 Dec., 1638, during which time she appears to have come to Pascataqua. (S3)

John Ault "took the oath," 26 June, 1656, but whether it was John¹ or John² we cannot tell. (S3).

He died 1694 in (of) Durham, Strafford County, New Hampshire. [In the massacre?].

[F7603]. Rebecca TIBBETTS
Born 1607 in England. She married John Ault on 1640 in Dover, Strafford, New Hampshire.

CHILDREN of John AULT [F7602] and Rebecca TIBBETTS [F7603]:

1. Rebecca AULT. born 1641 in Durham, Strattford, Nh. She married Henry Hawall (Hallowell) in 1660. She married Thomas Egerley of Dover on 28 Sep 1665 in , Strattford, Nh.
2. Elizabeth Ault. Born 1643-1645. She married John (William) Perkins before 1665.
3. [F3801]. Remembrance AULT. Born in (1645-S2,S4)(1647-S6,S10)(about 1650-S8) at Durham, Strafford County, New Hampshire. She married John RAND [F3800] in 1668 at Oyster River (now Durham), Strafford County, New Hampshire.(S2,S3,S4). She is usually said to have died 29 SEP 1691 in the Indian massacre at Sandy Beach, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. I doubt that she was even there at the time, as I see no basis for the claim that she died there.
4. Thomas Ault. Born 1646 in Durham, Strafford, New Hampshire.
5. John Ault. Born 1648 in Durham, Strafford, New Hampshire.
