ARPHAXAD

HUSBAND:
ARPHAXAD. (Arp-casad). King of Arr. (S5). [CHART A1].
Born 2342 B.C. (S5) in Salem (Jerusalem), Canaan. (S1, S2,S5); son of SHEM.

Born two years after the flood.(S3)

Born one year after the flood. (S5).

Arphaxad married Rasueja (His 1st cousin). (S2).

He was 35 when his son Salah born in 2307 B.C. (S1).

He is also said to have had a son Cainan, who was said to be the father of Salah. (S2). This is given weight by a scripture in Luke (Luke 3:35) which indicates that Cainan was indeed a son of Arphaxad, and that Cainan was the father of Salah. This agrees with the Septuagint bible, which places Cainan between Arphaxad and Salah.

It is my opinion that this is in error in the Septuagint bible, and that Luke was relying on the incorrect Septuagint bible as his source. The Book of Jasher does not include Cainaan in the patriarchal line.

Arphaxad dwelt in Mesopotamia, and became, according to the Jewish historian Josephus, the progenitor of the Chaldeans.

He lived 933 years. (S?).

He died at the age of 438 years. (S5). (Gen. 11:10-13; 1 Chr. 1:17, 18; Luke 3:36).

He died (in 1904 B.C.-S2)(1874-S5)(in 1804 B.C. (S1) in Salem (Jerusalem), Canaan. (S2,S5).

WIFE:
Rasueja. (S2,S5).
