Born on 1 Jan 1555 in Barton St. David, Somersetshire, England; son of Henry ADAMS [F18272] and (Rose?) [F18273]. He was christened on 7 Aug 1595 in St Botolph, A, Somersetshire, England. John Adams lived all his life in Barton St. David, Somersetshire, where he was a husbandman, succeeding to his father's occupancy of the copy-hold land. At the age of 40 he became administrator of his father's estate.

He married Agnes, (possibly STONE-S1)(STONE-S2,S3) [F9137] on 1 FEB 1575 in England.

He made his will 19 March 1603-1604 and was buried 22 March 1603-1604.(S4) in Barton St. David, Somersetshire, England.(S?).

He died after 22 MAR 1603-1604 at Barton St. David, Somersetshire, England.(S5).
His will was proved 19 MAR 1603-4. He was buried on 22 Mar 1603 in Barton St. David, Somersetshire, England.(S?).

Born on 1 Jan 1556 in Barton, St. David, Somersetshire, England; daughter of John STONE [F18274] and Agnes [F18275]. (S?). She was christened in 1556 in Barton, St David, Somersetshire, England. She married John ADAMS [F9136] in 1575 in England.

[NOTE: She is said to have married (2) Richard ADAMS in (1576-S2)(1578-S3) in Somersetshire, England, but husband John didn’t die until 1604. This makes it possible that her last name is not STONE, as she must be a different Agnes than married Richard. It is also apparent that the dates for Richard and John are being mixed together. Richard ADAMS, son of Henry Adams and Rose, was born in 1552 in Barton, St. David, Somerset, England. He was christened on 7 Aug 1595 in Barton, St David, Somerset, England. He died on 19 Mar 1604 in Barton, St. David, Somerset, England. He was buried on 22 Mar 1603 in Barton, St David, Somerset, England. He married Agnes STONE in 1578 in Somersetshire, England. (S3). He married Margaret ARMAGER. RAM]

Agnes died on 15 Jan 1615 in Barton, St. David, Somersetshire, England. She was buried on 15 Jan 1616 in Barton St. David, Somersetshire, England.

He married Edith SQUIRE on 19 Oct 1609 in Charlton Mackrel, Somersetshire, England. They emmigrated to New England about 1632-1633. He died on 8 October 1646 in Braintree, (Now Quency), Norfolk County, Massachusetts; and was buried on 8 Aug 1646 (?) in Braintree.
